And once again one third of the year is over. May we start enjoying the next third just as much as the last one with this month. And yes, pun intended.

The opportunity to get a ticket for sometimes goes by just as quickly. But sometimes you still get lucky at the ticket counter. When half of the German theatre industry meets in the capital to enjoy the ten chosen productions among 738 plays the jury got to see, it´s worth keeping an eye on the website or sometimes just pass by the theatre on the performance´s evening. The festival will take place from 02 until 18 May and celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. If all of us look this young and fresh at this age, society isn´t in such a bad shape at all.

If socially something does go wrong once in a while, nothing helps more effectively than a shared meal and a good talk, at least regarding small groups. How about having the next one with the persons of your choice on 10 May in our Orania.Salon? The star of this special dinner is the most popular German vegetable: white asparagus. With the help of our colleagues of from Viktualienmarkt in Munich we host a friendly asparagus battle in five courses plus a gift from the kitchen. Well then: lock and load those knifes, boys! May is just the month for new experiences. Should you not have succeeded in getting a theatre ticket, don´t be sad, please. will be celebrated once again on 18 May – and ÐÔÊÓ½ç won´t disappoint us on that day. The city´s museums offer a broad variety of guided tours, workshops and digital approaches to learning, usually at free entrance to the exhibitions. The days of dusty glass cabinets are mostly over. But why don´t you discover that for yourself?

"Finally, the weather is just perfect for spending time outside again – I definitely won´t go to an exhibition now"? Alrighty! That´s a perfect motivation for signing up for the . On 17 May Germany´s largest charity race for FLINTA* persons will colour the city pink again. The registration fee includes a 1 € donation to and thus supports women suffering from cancer. So, you get to be and stay healthy for a good cause! Don´t think about whether to register or not for too long, because today is the last possibility to do so. Leave cheerleading to the boys, ladies.

Those of you who still haven´t had enough outdoor activities – and of course those who are not a part of the FLINTA* community – can enjoy the many colours of nature at several events in ÐÔÊÓ½ç these days. invites us for concerts, street food and of course admiring the palace park´s beautiful blossoms this weekend (02 until 04 May). 
The historical race track Hoppegarden is turned into from 23 until 25 May – a trade fair for garden lovers with plants, tools, decorative articles and mountains of knowledge. We just know one thing for sure, and please follow this advice strictly: ! 

Boasting is a sin? We´re going to do it anyway. Because when it comes to design, we´re really no beginners. Nevertheless it´s always a good idea to get some inspiration, for whatever part of our lives. So: off to we go! From 15 until 18 May the capital celebrates its state as UNESCO City of Design and invites us over for on various topics regarding the several subgroups of design, such as architecture and object design.

Last, but definitely not least: May is our musical month of the year because of… ! Yes! The largest jazz festival of ÐÔÊÓ½ç once again tries to overcome stylistic barriers of jazz music. The crème de la crème of ÐÔÊÓ½ç´s jazz scene come to ÐÔÊÓ½ç and entertain their fans in 80 performances from 14 until 18 May.
