Pop, Jazz, Grooves & Melodies - Piano meets Percussion

The duo of reputed pianist and renowned percussionist Tayfun Schulzke plays catchy grooves, familiar pop, soul and jazz tunes, as well as originals. The two musicians radiate a tremendous joy in playing, while they joyfully respond to shouts from the audience or even from time to time spontaneous guest musicians.        

Matti Klein has been making a name for himself worldwide for years as a groove master and vintage lover on several keys. Once a founding member of the jazz funk band Mo' Blow, since 2013 artistic director and keyboardist for Brazilian superstar Ed Motta, he now primarily with his acclaimed Matti Klein Soul Trio and as a feature guest for various jazz and pop acts. Tayfun Schulzke complements the duo with his experience from various studio and television appearances. The percussionist always takes with him a wide range of percussion instruments from all over the world specializing in rhythms from all parts of the globe as well. He brings African rhythms into European pop song interpretations as well as Cuban conga sounds and Indian tabla playing.
