So, 2021, off you go! Your time is out! Over and out! 

What a very special year you were. Not all of it was fun - we weren´t allowed to welcome you as our guests for almost half a year! But even more we enjoyed having you back in Summer. 

But now we have to admit something really stupid. This should be the place for our 2021 retrospect, but in preparation of tomorrow´s festivities we toasted to all that went well this year and it was more than we had thought… and now we suffer from complete ÐÔÊÓ½ç Amnesia! or we will be lost in this city forever! 

Let´s make a deal: If you help us get back our memories and write an email with explanations for the following pictures - who or what they show - we will let your answers be checked by those still knowing this city. And all of you with correct answers will take part in a lottery. As symbol of our gratitude we will invite the winner and one other lucky person as company to a full course X-Berg-Duck meal at . If you know our signature dish already, you know that´s worth it! And if you don´t…. well, what are you waiting for then? So no matter whether you´ve been a careful reader or you know the city a bit… you´re better off than we are at the moment!

(1) We have definitely seen this before. More than just once. But where?!

(2) Oh, okay, that´s easy. Thank the lord!

(4) No idea why we just got the notion that this picture has something to do with the ones before. Must be the champaign.

(5) What a glorious view! Maybe a theatre entrance? But without any theatre behind it? Hm…

(6) Oh, that sounds a bell! It´s ringing so heavily! But that´s not helping either.

(7) If that was supposed to be an umbrella, something went really wrong.

(8) We´ve seen this one before. Maybe at the movies?

(9) Movies, movies …. seems to fit this picture, too. What a funny idea.

(10) Wow! One could easily think this is Versailles! But the pictures have definitely been taken in ÐÔÊÓ½ç, so that can´t be it.

(11) We have absolutely no idea what that´s supposed to be. Looks like it´s coming from outer space somehow. 


After having gone through the pictures again now, we have to admit not to know anything anymore now. We do hope that´s different with you! We count on you! (No pressure, but without you we are doomed and damned forever.) 

In order not to get lost now, we rather stay here for New Year´s Eve and enjoy the the kitchen team has prepared for tomorrow. Will you , too? If we don´t meet in person, we don´t want to miss the opportunity to wish you Pop the corks! Okay, you´re probably right. Just an orange juice for us…
